Common questions
Will I get my card the same day?
Yes. Pass the in-person skills check and your official eCard is issued the same day — most students walk out certified. (BLS, ACLS & PALS issue an AHA eCard; NRP issues an AAP eCard.)
What's the difference between an initial cert and a renewal?
There’s no separate renewal class. Everyone takes the same course and leaves with the same 2-year card — book the same class whether it’s your first card or a renewal.
Do I need anything before an ACLS or PALS class?
An active BLS certification. Don't have one — or is it expired? We bundle BLS into your ACLS or PALS day at no extra cost.
How big are the classes?
Small by design — 12 students max, and just 8 for NRP — so you get real one-on-one manikin time, not a packed room.
Where are classes held, and how long do they take?
Every class is in person at a partner training facility in Las Vegas, on real manikins — the exact address is sent when you book. Time on-site: BLS and ACLS 4 hours, PALS 5 hours, NRP about 2 hours.
Is this card accepted at my hospital or job?
Yes — it's the same AHA eCard (AAP for NRP) employers verify by QR code, accepted in all 50 states.
What if I can't make my class?
Reschedule free up to 48 hours before. And if you don’t pass, you get a free retest within 60 days.
