Accessibility
We’re committed to making this site usable for everyone and work toward WCAG 2.1 AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and some content may not yet fully conform. Below is what we cover, what’s known to be limited, and how to request accommodations.
Conformance level
This website works toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our baseline. We run automated axe-core checks in our build pipeline on five representative pages (home, booking, one course detail, contact, FAQ) and treat serious or critical findings as release blockers. Automated testing doesn’t catch everything, so if you hit a barrier we’ve missed, please tell us (see below) and we’ll fix it.
Known limitations
- Cal.com embed. Our booking calendar is provided by Cal.com, which loads in a cross-origin iframe. We verify keyboard navigation manually before each release, but cannot run automated axe-core checks inside their iframe. If you encounter accessibility issues with the embed itself, please contact us. We can also book your class by phone.
- PDF resources. Any AHA-supplied PDFs (eCards, course materials) are produced by the American Heart Association and follow their accessibility standards, not ours.
Requesting accommodations
For class accommodations (assistive devices, alternate seating, extended time, interpreter requests), email hello@heartbeathavenlv.com or call (725) 308-4094 at least 48 hours before your scheduled class. We handle these arrangements verbally. We deliberately do not ask for medical or disability details on any web form.
Reporting an accessibility issue
If something on this site is hard to use or completely blocks you, please email hello@heartbeathavenlv.com with the page URL and a brief description. We respond within one business day.
