Heartbeat Haven LV exists because most Las Vegas CPR options are 20-person chain classrooms or 10-minute YouTube videos. Healthcare workers deserve a third option: a small in-person room, a working clinician at the front, and the same AHA card every employer accepts.
Meet your instructor
Adriana Park, MSN, RN, has spent more than 20 years working the kind of shifts where CPR isn’t theoretical. Sixteen of them were in the NICU, alongside adult Critical Care, the Emergency Room, home health, corrections, ambulatory care, and community behavioral-health outreach. The through-line: patients who need the call made right the first time.
She holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education (ADN → BSN → MSN), and taught the neuropsychiatric rotation as adjunct faculty in the ADN program at San Joaquin Delta Community College. She’s been a Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor since 2012, and over the past three years she’s added ACLS, PALS, and BLS to her instructor credentials.
Most recently:
- Registered Nurse, Nye County Detention Center (Serenity Health, 2023–2024). Medical, behavioral, and emergency nursing for an incarcerated population: intake and mental health assessments, suicide screening, detox monitoring, chronic disease management, and response to medical and psychiatric emergencies.
- Targeted Case Manager, Serenity Nonprofit (2025–present). Community-based behavioral health outreach for people facing homelessness, substance use, and mental illness.
After two decades of running real codes in NICUs, EDs, and behavioral-health units, Adriana watched too many colleagues come back from chain CPR classes having barely touched a manikin. So she opened Heartbeat Haven LV: the class her own coworkers should have had, small, hands-on, and taught by a clinician who still does the work.
Heartbeat Haven LV is the long version of that work. The goal: put real, AHA-aligned training within reach of the people who need it, and eventually offer free certification to the Las Vegas communities that don’t always get the option. Every heartbeat matters.
What we teach
Heartbeat Haven LV offers the full American Heart Association credentialing slate plus the AAP’s NRP:
All cards are 2-year certifications, issued by the AHA (or AAP for NRP) and accepted by every employer that requires “AHA-aligned” credentials.
How we’re different from chain CPR mills
- Class size capped at 12 (8 for NRP). Not 20–30. Every seat is hands-on with a manikin.
