About BLS Provider
The AHA BLS Provider course is required by most US hospitals, dental offices, EMS agencies, nursing schools, and medical schools. Two formats: full in-person, or Heartcode blended (online module + short in-person skills session). Pick the one that fits your schedule.

Two ways to take it
Option 1: Full In-Person ($60, 4 hours)
Everything in one sitting. Best if you don’t have a card yet or your card has been expired more than a few months. We cover all content, you practice everything, you test, you walk out with the card.
Option 2: Heartcode Blended ($45 in-person + AHA online module fee)
Do the AHA’s online module on your own time (about 1.5–2 hours, take it as many times as you need), then come in for a 1.5-hour skills session and check-off. Best for renewals or if your schedule doesn’t fit a half-day block. Online module purchased separately from shopcpr.heart.org; usually around $30.
Renewals
If your card is currently active or expired less than 30 days, the blended format is usually the faster path. If it’s been expired longer than that, the full in-person class is the right call.
